Behind the scenes - TV show

Hello everyone!!! I'm beginning this post telling you that I am sick ( just the common flu ... but during the summer, which is even worse because it is really hot outside and I feel like I'm suffocating and I need air, so I open the window and this is not good for me.) My throat is aching, I can barely breath and I feel like sneezing all the time, but I just can't sneeze. I know I'm supposed to drink hot beverages, but how can I when outside it's like 35 to 40 celsius degrees? And on top of that , how can I resist eating ice-cream ? There are so many temptations, so being sick in the summer it's like hell. Not to mention that today I wanted to shoot some pictures but tears flowed from my eyes like I was crying, and I had to cancel it. So this is the way my free week looks like :D. Funny huh ?!

So after two weeks without a Thursday post, I have come back with this one, with photos from various nights on the show. I decided it is better to show them to you this way instead of having 2 or 3 photos a post. A few of them you might have seen in previous posts, but some of them are new, and there are a lot more that I didn't post because there were too many people in them. No worries I still have some of my former colleagues in a few of these photos. I'll let the photos speak to you because I am feeling really bad and I am probably gonna go to bed right now. :D

Red tulle dress - Being a TV host

Hello everyone!!! It's Thursday again so it's time for a new TV show post. Unfortunately it's gonna be a short one because I have to go very soon, but I didn't wanted to skip this opportunity to show you the look I wore when I was the moderator of the show.

Yes I wrote correctly and you read it correctly. I was the host of the show for ne night, when it was Lavinia's birthday (the usual host of the show - she was then a guest of mine)

It was an amazing experience and of course I was filled with mixed emotions from excitement to a bit of anxiety, and I couldn't believe this was happening until we were on air - Live. I played the role of the host and my own, of assistant, and it went pretty well. I had 3 guests including Lavinia, and she said to me that I am a really good moderator. That meant a lot to me because she rarely pays someone a compliment.

The dress I wore is absolutely amazing. It's made from red tulle and it has an A line that isn't fit on the body - it's slightly oversized. It looked good on the TV and I loved it in real life too. I wish it was mine, but unfortunately it's not.

Strapless dress and black lace collar

Hello everyone!!! A new Thursday a new post! This is gonna be a short post because walking down the memory lane, I remembered the first show I've appeared on, and I wanted to share it with you. I was being all nervous and super excited at the same time and I can't remember much about it from behind the scenes, but I do have the show on my computer, and can watch it over and over again when I'm feeling nostalgic. It was the time when I had 2 other colleagues and we encouraged each other to be cool not nervous. I remember I was super excited about this green strapless dress with black lace, and the black lace collar I was wearing, but unfortunately these are all the pictures I took that day (in the first 2 I was in the elevator that took me to the tv floor) . My hair was shorter as you can notice, and apparently a mess, although I had straightened it before leaving home. I had my make-up done my own style, but had it retouched by a talented MUA before the show because it was too natural. ( since then I evolved a lot in terms of make-up)

So that's about it for today's post. I know it's short but that's all I can remember and I really like the dress. I wanted to post some inspirational photos on Tuesday, but I left in a hurry on an exciting family trip, hiking the romanian mountains, and unfortunately I had no cell service, so I couldn't update you. ( of course now I have a bit of muscle soreness/muscle fever, but it was all worth it, and hopefully on a few weeks we'll go again ).

Modern fairytale vibe

Hello everyone!!! A new Thursday a new post! Outside the weather was kinda sad ... yesterday was raining and today was cloudy all day long so I thought I should be a pop of colour after a sad day, so that's why I decided to post a red dress from the tv collaboration.

As I said many times before I remember all those moments from the set with great joy. Here I was very nervous and on top of that, my curls straightened. Because my hair is very long I can't have curly hair more that a couple of hours ( even if I use a ton of mega strong hairspray, that's a 5 out of 6 for my hairspray ), and I was at the university before the tv show, and as you can see in the pictures my hair was a mess. Nevertheless it was all good in the end. The dress I'm wearing is really beautiful. I just love that shade of red and I think it suits me well. The top of the dress is embellished with little pearls which gives the dress a modern fairytale vibe.

Hello everyone!!! Yesterday was Thursday but I couldn't post, so here I am now with a new look from the show. What better way to end the week and start the weekend than a blog post ? It was a crazy week for me filled with university projects, but I'm finally done. I just have 2 more exams next week and then I'll be free.. well almost free, I will still have some events to organise but I'll have more free time and hopefully I'm gonna shoot a lot of pictures to show you.

Now let's talk about this look. I felt like I posted too many black dresses lately and wanted to change that. Of course you can never have too many black dresses. They are elegant and you can never go wrong with black, but we should have a diversified wardrobe and include bright colours too. I couldn't give up on black so this beautiful dress has a black lace band underneath the breasts and I think this completes perfectly the cream-coloured dress I wore. In the picture above I was promoting pearls necklace and earrings made by a talented local jewelry designer. The other pictures are made before the show started and I was having fun with Alex the cameraman. This dress was a bit tricky to wear while standing on the chair because it has a high slit from the beginning of the black lace band all the way down, but it was alright. I apologise for the poor quality of the pictures but they were made as usual with the phone and in a hurry.
