Tuesday Travel Diary - Sibiu

Hello everyone! After a looong absence I've returned to my baby blog. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post as often as I would want to, because time will not allow me this. Having a full time job requires most of my time, 10 hours a day to be precise (transportation included). But I'm gonna try my best to keep you updated as often as I can.

These pictures were taken in Sibiu, Romania, several months ago. That was my first and only time in Sibiu so far, and I didn't had much time to visit it, but the parts where I've been amazed me. The buildings are so beautiful and everything around there makes you feel like you're in a fairytale. I want to return there to properly visit the city but I don't see this happening in the nearest future. I am actually working in tourism right now and I am making a lot of beautiful deals all over the Europe and I feel stuck here in my city, craving to visit all those beautiful places and of course my beautiful country. Did I ever mention that I love my country? It has beautiful scenery, it has a lot of potential to become a more popular tourist attraction, and I want to visit all of it someday. My heart wants this so badly and I will make it happen one way or another. So I guess today's post is all about seeing the half full part of the glass, and keeping a positive attitude.

I wanted to shoot more pictures but oh well it didn't happen the way I was thinking. Still I managed to shoot some tourist pictures, with Andrei and I really like them. I was wearing a natural make-up (more like just the foundation) and my hair was messy (and sooo long). Andrei had this idea of  a picture - walking on a tree vertically but you'll see the pictures below (also you can see a small part of the beautiful Sibiu).

Friday inspiration - Drawings and sketches

Hello everyone!!! It's another Friday so I have come with another inspirational photos. You'll find this post a bit different because  it's all about sketches and drawings. I am amazed by how real they appear to be and I just love that. I found these pictures on instagram, and I saved like a ton of them. I just couldn't stop saving them. The author is very talented. I heard about him when I read an editorial on http://www.whowhatwear.com/. You can follow him and see his work on instagram @shamekhbluwi. You'll love what you'll see. Oh and how I wish I could just wear these magical dresses and just take pictures in them, not to mention if I would ever have them... (Now it's time for me to try and draw something similar :D )

Favourite TV looks

Hello everyone!!! It's Thursday and I'm beginning this blog post by telling you that it's a big heatwave outside, probably the hottest day of this year, so be sure to stay out of the warmth of the sun, avoid walking in the sun and be sure that you are hydrated. Always carry a bottle of water with you, and as tempting as it is, to drink just-out-of-the-fridge cold water please don't do it, your throat will be grateful. Trust me, I've been through this recently and it isn't nice at all. My advice to you to get through days like this, is to eat a lot of fresh fruits and drink a lot of liquids. It helps a lot. Oh and another thing, if you really have to walk in this killer weather outside, wear sun cream protection if possible, because no one wants to get burned while walking or to have the hands more tanned than the rest of the body. I hope this was useful to you.

I've decided to do a favourite TV looks - post because there are a few dresses that are really stuck into my head and I wish I had them , but eeh .. what can I do ... Now that I think of it, all the dresses from these pictures are created by the very talented and beautiful Carmen Radulescu from Fashion Concept by Carmen Radulescu - one of our partners through the show. 

I wore the first dress with the sequins and tulle for our Christmas edition, which was not live. we recorded it because we had a huge band on the set and we couldn't do it live. You can see more pictures here. 

In the second picture I'm wearing a beautiful traditional costume borrowed for and event at the county museum, from a very talented singer. I love everything about it and I really wish I had one of my own. More pictures here.

In the third picture, I'm wearing a beautiful gown for the show's Galla which was held at Victoria Hotel. It has a  beautiful architecture, and I feel like I'm in a castel, oh and that chandelier... oh my !!!. The Galla was an interesting event split in 2 so we can air it on tv, filled with important and beautiful people from our county. You can see more pictures here. we had a special photoshoot with it.

In the fourth photo I was the host of the show as you all know. I was super excited and proud of myself when I heard Lavinia saying that I am a good host. It was an interesting experience. You can see more photos here.

In the fifth picture I was wearing the green flower print dress I loved so much. It was on the shooting of the calendar and then I wore it again live in the TV show. More photos here.

The sixth photo is from the beginning of our collaboration but I loved that dress very much, and I still want it. I was super excited and happy because I had received flowers for the first time on the show and it was an awesome feeling. More photos here.

Finally in the last picture I was wearing the perfect little black dress. It's a simple dress from lace but it's versatile beyond words. It needs just the perfect pair of earrings, heels and a beautiful clutch and it's the perfect look for me. you can see more of it here.

Friday inspiration - Pretty in pink

Hello everyone!!! I know it's late to post, but I'm doing the best I can. I had a crazy week again :D. As you may have noticed I skipped the Thursday TV show post. I looked at the photos and I realised there are no more pictures to be posted... so I'm thinking to make a collage or something with the looks I haven't posted ( and I have to plan it in advance, because next week is gonna be a full one too ).

For today's inspiration post I choose an editorial from Harper's Bazaar. I like it very much and seeing Natalie Portman being pretty in pink, in a car and near the sea, makes me wanna convince some friends to go on a road trip to our Black Sea and just ... relax ... I told you I am crazy about the seaside  (although I can't swim :D - ironic huh ? but it just makes me feel so good ... ).

Modern fairytale vibe

Hello everyone!!! A new Thursday a new post! Outside the weather was kinda sad ... yesterday was raining and today was cloudy all day long so I thought I should be a pop of colour after a sad day, so that's why I decided to post a red dress from the tv collaboration.

As I said many times before I remember all those moments from the set with great joy. Here I was very nervous and on top of that, my curls straightened. Because my hair is very long I can't have curly hair more that a couple of hours ( even if I use a ton of mega strong hairspray, that's a 5 out of 6 for my hairspray ), and I was at the university before the tv show, and as you can see in the pictures my hair was a mess. Nevertheless it was all good in the end. The dress I'm wearing is really beautiful. I just love that shade of red and I think it suits me well. The top of the dress is embellished with little pearls which gives the dress a modern fairytale vibe.
