Tuesday Travel Diary - Sibiu

Hello everyone! After a looong absence I've returned to my baby blog. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post as often as I would want to, because time will not allow me this. Having a full time job requires most of my time, 10 hours a day to be precise (transportation included). But I'm gonna try my best to keep you updated as often as I can.

These pictures were taken in Sibiu, Romania, several months ago. That was my first and only time in Sibiu so far, and I didn't had much time to visit it, but the parts where I've been amazed me. The buildings are so beautiful and everything around there makes you feel like you're in a fairytale. I want to return there to properly visit the city but I don't see this happening in the nearest future. I am actually working in tourism right now and I am making a lot of beautiful deals all over the Europe and I feel stuck here in my city, craving to visit all those beautiful places and of course my beautiful country. Did I ever mention that I love my country? It has beautiful scenery, it has a lot of potential to become a more popular tourist attraction, and I want to visit all of it someday. My heart wants this so badly and I will make it happen one way or another. So I guess today's post is all about seeing the half full part of the glass, and keeping a positive attitude.

I wanted to shoot more pictures but oh well it didn't happen the way I was thinking. Still I managed to shoot some tourist pictures, with Andrei and I really like them. I was wearing a natural make-up (more like just the foundation) and my hair was messy (and sooo long). Andrei had this idea of  a picture - walking on a tree vertically but you'll see the pictures below (also you can see a small part of the beautiful Sibiu).

So that's about it for today. I hope you guys like this post. Please let me know what you think about it in the comment section below. I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and suggestions. I wish you all a wonderful week or weekend. See you next time.In the meantime, for more updates you can follow me on facebook here: Suzy's dream and on instagram here: @sinziananegres. kisses

Happy New Year

Hello everyone!!!It's been a while since I last posted, almost three months have passed, and I've really missed it. It's pointless to tell you now that I've been incredibly busy and that time and distance didn't allowed me to do what I love most, because you already know that.
I want to thank you all for checking out my blog every once in a while, even though I was missing. It was a wonderful surprise to see so many views after 3 months of nothing, so really guys thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I noticed today that I had some posts prepared but didn't posted them, so I decided to post one of them in which you can get to know me a little more.

So, this year is over, and I'm being a little nostalgic remembering all the good times I had. I am sure the new year is gonna be even better, with new adventures and filled with happines and love. I didn't get the chance to post a new year's outfit, as tonight I'm gonna be working at an event. Yes on new year's I'm working, but I don't mind, I actually wanted this for a long time. I love this day, because it brings the promise of new beginnings, and there's also fireworks... which I absolutely adore :D.
My godmother asked me to post these photos a.s.a.p. so here they are :)). I hope you guys like them as much as I do. Thank you Andrei for these beautiful pictures!
I hope the new year will get you all that you want!!! So keep your heads up and party until dawn tonight, celebrating the year that is gone and the new one that comes.

I'm gonna have to leave you now, to prepare for tonight's big event, but I'll be back soon I hope.
I hope you guys liked this post and the beautiful pictures Andrei shot, and thank you again for not leaving me, and checking out my blog!!! Wha are your wishes for the new year ? I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and suggestions. I wish you all a wonderful weekend. See you next time. kisses

Tuesday Travel Diary - Cozia Monastery

Hello everyone!!! For a couple of days it's been raining non-stop. I don't get along very well with this weather. I really miss the old days when it was sunny and I had more time to shoot pictures. Unfortunately, lately I haven't been able to do so, and this thing is making me sad. Neither the weather nor the time helps me to do what I love most (which is to shoot pictures and post them of course). This is a rough period for me but it's gonna be over, just be patient with me, I'll be back on track soon.

Until then I'm leaving you with a new travel diary post. It's from a short trip we went on, during the end of the summer, beginning of the autumn. I went for a comfy outfit and I wore a black maxi dress (also seen in this post), paired with a denim shirt, flats and a hat since my hair wasn't on it's best day. Also I wasn't wearing any makeup since this trip was unplanned, and they called me like 10 minutes before we left (okay it may have been a bit more than 10 minutes, but hey it was Sunday and I was in the middle of an episode from a tv series that I was watching - can't remember which though... I'm watching over 20 of them :D crazy I know :d). Anyway, I got to visit a beautiful Monastery, well known in Romania. It's called Cozia Monastery and it has such beautiful scenery surrounding it, that you may actually think you are dreaming. I really love the Monastery's architecture you can google it to see how beautiful it is. I wish I could have gone there with one of my photographer friends and a beautiful gown to shoot pictures ... but ... maybe next summer we'll do it. You can see from the pictures what a marvellous place it is and how it gives you a chilling vibe, I could sit on there near a tree and read a book all day long. The post ends with the picture of a delicious icecream. I've actually posted it on instagram that day. You can see there also the piucture where I'm facing the river. So go check it out here: @sinziananegres

I'll leave you now with the pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I didn't forget, I have to respond to a tag, maybe Thursday, we'll see if the time allows me to do so. So that's about it for today. I hope you guys like this post. Please let me know what you think about it in the comment section below. I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and suggestions. I wish you all a wonderful week. See you next time. kisses

Tuesday Travel Diary - Transfagarasan

As I told you in my previous post, I'm gonna start a new category on the blog - Travel Diary. I won't be posting every Tuesday since I can't travel all the time (although I would love to ). For our first travel diary I chose to tell you about a trip we did a couple of weeks ago. Me and a couple of friends went to the mountain and there the weather was harsh with us, it was really foggy and it rained, not to mention the 12 Celsius degrees we had to endure, but it was an awesome trip. I have never been to Transfagarasan before. I think you've heard of it ... some call it "the best road in the world". "It has a spectacular view and 90 km of twists and turns that run from north to south across the tallest sections of the Southern Carpathians, between the highest peaks in the country, Moldoveanu, and the second highest, Negoiu. The road connects the historic regions of Transylvania and Wallachia, and the cities of Sibiu and Pitesti. " . If you want more info about it click here.

The view on the way to Balea Lac which is a glacial lake is amazing. You don't know where to look first, left or right, not to mention that the view from up there is speechless. I'm really glad that it was foggy outside because it had such a mystery vibe. You can sleep there, they have cottages with everything you need, but because it's such a beautiful place you have to plan your trip ahead and book  in advance a room or two. I definitely recommend you to visit it and spend at least one night there. You won't regret it, trust me. These pictures were taken with our phones and don't do justice to that amazing place. Unfortunately we couldn't stay there and had to go back so I couldn't explore it properly, but the next time I'll get there, I will definitely spend a night or two, and explore all its surroundings (dressed with warmer clothes because I was freezing until one of my friends gave me a blouse. And a reminder for me - don't wear sandals :d ).

I hope you guys like this post. For more updates follow me on instagram @sinziananegres. Please let me know what you think about it in the comment section below. I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and suggestions. I wish you all a wonderful week. See you next time. kisses
